I’m going on hiatus! Over the next few weeks I will be taking some time off from posting. It’s been a little over 3 years since Hot Pepper Latte was but a twinkle in my eye. At that time, my vision for this blog was a personal project to practice writing and track my reading. As the years have gone on I’ve been blown away by people mentioning how they liked my posts or asking how my blog is doing, and slowly have started to discover my place in a wonderful community of writers, readers, and friends. The content has evolved and changed along the way as a result (shout out if you remember when I tried to add DIY), and so have I! I’ve added the Lattes with Ladies series which has been phenomenal, but there is still more room to grow.
As 2017 approaches, I’ve started thinking more and more about what my goals are for the future and realized how this blog has really changed shape in my mind. I’ve become more serious about my reading and more invested in the content, which is why I’ve decided to take time off to give it an upgrade. Some exciting changes are coming and I don’t want to spoil the surprise, so I’ll just say this: I’ll be back in the new year with a new look and more exciting, new posts.
